Sales Policy for Volunteer Case & Container, LLC


Payment Terms: Note: Payment in advance is required unless credit has been pre-approved.

Credit Card: We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card. Call us toll free at 1-877-VOL-CASE (1-877-865-2273).

Check: Company checks, and personal checks are accepted. Personal checks must clear through the banking system prior to the shipment of any off-the-shelf items, and must clear before production can commence on all custom made items.

Credit Terms: Credit terms may be established with qualified companies. Generally, as a minimum, we require at least three trade references, company information (“bill to” address, phone numbers, etc.) and banking information be submitted for credit approval. Once credit is established, terms are 2%10Net30. Finance charges of 1 ½% per month on any unpaid balance will apply after 30 days. For credit accounts, a written purchase order is required. It must include terms and FOB point.

Wire Transfer: Bank wire transfers in U.S. dollars, with an additional $20.00 added to each transfer to cover our banking fees, are accepted. Please call toll free 1-877-VOL-CASE (1-877-865-2273) for our wire transfer information. 

Shipping Options: F.O.B. All shipments are F.O.B. Origin. However, F.O.B. Destination shipments are available if requested before the final quotation is given, so that shipping and handling can be included in the price.

Freight Charges: Freight Charges are prepaid and added to the customer’s credit card or invoice, and must be included if prepaying by check. However, if the customer requests, shipment by their specified carrier, can be made, with the shipping charges billed collect to the customer’s own carrier account number.

UPS Ground: Most shipments are sent by UPS Ground, unless otherwise requested in writing by the customer.

Air Shipment: Shipment by air, if requested by the customer, can be 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air, and can be UPS, Federal Express, or Airborne. UPS will be the preferred air shipper unless another is requested.

Truck Lines: Packages too large for UPS (sum of girth and length exceeding 130”) will be sent by truck. Unless requested otherwise we will ship by the truck line of our choice. 

Inspections: Please inspect your order at the time of delivery! The customer is responsible for inspection of the order at the time of delivery, and MUST note any damage on the carrier’s Bill of Lading so that proper damage claims may be filed with the carrier. Should the customer fail to note any such damage, the customer has accepted the order “AS IS” and shall bear all the expense for any necessary repairs. 


Return Policy
Warranty: All products sold by Volunteer Case & Container, LLC are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Please read our warranty in its entirety.

Returns: Volunteer Case & Container, LLC products are not returnable due to the fact that they are custom manufactured to the customer’s specifications. This policy does not apply to Warranty problems, which may be returned for repair or rework only with prior authorization. 

Return Authorization: Please review your quotation carefully to insure that all dimensions, options, and color are correct before ordering. No returns are allowed due to errors and oversights by the customer unless the needed rework will be paid by the customer, including the freight both ways. ALL RETURNS, including warranty problems, must be pre-approved by Volunteer Case & Container, LLC BEFORE returning. Call our customer service department at 1-865-481-3801 for instructions. All returned cases must be properly packaged in the original shipping container or equivalent. All returns must be shipped prepaid and insured. 


Lifetime Warranty Information
Warranty: Products manufactured by Volunteer Case & Container, LLC carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty extends for the life of the product to the original purchaser. Any expressed or implied warranty not provided herein is hereby disclaimed and excluded. Volunteer Case & Container, LLC will repair any defect in products it manufacturers that are attributed to defects in materials or workmanship. Damage arising of normal wear, use, abuse, misuse, negligence, accidents, alterations, or otherwise, is not covered by the warranty, and is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Volunteer Case & Container, LLC and its employees, agents, and distributors will not be liable for any direct, consequential, or incidental damage or loss or injury either to persons or property, caused by any product defect. This disclaimer includes, but is not limited to damages and losses to equipment, instruments, components, lost income potential, travel expenses, or any other collateral loss. The warranty does not exceed the value of the original purchase price. In order to execute repairs under warranty, all shipping, packing, insurance and other costs incurred other than the labor and materials covered under this warranty will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser. The provisions of this warranty are severable and if any provision shall be deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The above may not be changed except by an agreement signed by an Officer of Volunteer Case & Container, LLC.
